The Big Switch

Due to the current issues surrounding Epic Games and Apple as well as the Google Play Store, the stability of the Unreal as a multi platform engine has come into question. Although I firmly believe that all will end up settling fine, I still made the choice to switch from Unreal Engine 4 to Unity. Although the visuals for UE4 are, in my opinion, superior then Unity's, Unity can still be a very visually stunning rendering engine. I have used Unity is the passed and have come to really like most of the features and coding aspect of Unity. Plus I am looking forward to trying the new HDRP Renderer but will probably add that later.


This will also allow me to more "Start at the beginning" of implementation for everything for any inspiring indie developers that are watching this blog. So here we go as provenance will now be a Unity 3D game.
